Enjoy snowcapped mountain peaks, mystical temples and amazing wildlife in Nepal
Nepal’s diversity is staggering. The formidable Mount Everest may be reason enough to visit for some, but there is so much more to this beautiful country. Explore the rich jungles of Chitwan, take in the bustling life of Kathmandu and visit ancient temples peppered across the vibrant countryside.
Nepal experienced a devastating earthquake in 2015, its worst in 80 years. Kathmandu was one of the worst affected areas with many houses and temples destroyed. However, as the process of rebuilding the country continues, visitors are as welcome here as they always have been. Come to experience a country that is beautiful not only in aesthetic but in the warmth and resilience of its people.
The fact that Nepal was never colonised reinforces a great sense of national pride in the Nepalese. They are some of the friendliest and most hospitable people in the world, with a great zest for festivities and celebrations. Your trip to Nepal will be an enriching experience and a true feast for the senses.
Whether you want to hike in the Himalayas, explore the lakes and countryside, discover ancient traditions or experience its wonderful wildlife, Nepal has something for everyone. It is a small country compared to its colossal neighbour, and while there is plenty to discover within its borders, it also makes a great trip when combined with India and Bhutan.
