Kenya is famous for its wildlife and it is undoubtedly one of the best places in the world to safari. Explore its vast national parks and get an insight into Maasai culture on this incredible 15-day adventure.

After a night in Nairobi you will head to the Lewa Conservancies, one of the best places to spot black rhino. Enjoy making your acquaintance with the animals on day and night game drives, and if you fancy really getting close to your surroundings, then there is the option to take part in guided bush walks.

Your next wildlife encounter will be in the Solio Reserve, exploring the vast plains, forest glades and lakes. From here you will make your way to the famous Masai Mara and the Mara Conservancies where your safari adventure continues and you’ll be exposed to an eye-opening volume of game.

Your time here will be spent enjoying day and night game drives to spot the varying wildlife, horse riding, camel trekking, bush walks as well as archaeological site excursions and lectures on the history of conservancy, which this catchment is known for.

Today you will have the opportunity to visit the Ngare Ndare Forest Trust. This forest lies to the southeast of Borana and has made huge steps in recent years to connect with the local communities to ensure its survival. Within the forest there are some magnificent rock pools, where the clear blue spring water gushes out the side of the hill, and also a fabulous canopy walk making it possible to get up close and personal with a Hartlaub’s turaco or even an elephant.

This expedition takes you on quad bike or buggy through the rugged wilderness of northern Kenya, where true adventure off the beaten track awaits. The safari follows tracks through muddy, rocky, dusty terrain, where nomadic tribes of northern remain true to a traditional way of life.

It’s the perfect picnic spot after a trek through the bushes, and doubles as a romantic overnight spot. With two double nest-shaped beds, plus space for a couple more bedrolls, it can work either as an intrepid sleepover for the adventurer wanting to engage their senses, or a means for a family to realise that inner-child dream of living in a tree-house.
