A personalised Africa Grand Tour will visit several countries on one epic trip. I find that the planning process is where the fun really starts when it comes to arranging longer adventures. Getting to know our guests, having chats on the phone, exchanging ideas and stories is always really enjoyable. Africa lends itself so well to Grand Tours; hopping over borders in east Africa, light aircraft flights and helicopters, dhow boats in Zanzibar and experiencing some of the most incredible wildlife encounters in the world, meeting the friendliest people and exploring their fascinating culture.

When to visit
The countries you visit in Africa, and what you do while you’re there, will have an impact on the best time of year to visit. In general east and southern Africa experience a clear, sunny, cool winter from June to September which is a great time to go on Safari. East Africa experiences a very wet season during March and April which can make safari difficult. Botswana’s green season, from November to April is a great time to visit the Kalahari.

Jacada organized a completely custom made 17-day tour for our family of 4 to Ecuador and Peru, including the Galapagos and Machu Pichu. They really listened to our preferences and every details of the trip was well planned, super fun, and exceeded our expectations most of the time. Would highly recommend Jacada. We will definitely book with them again.
Extremely well organized. Ours was a multi-facetted trip in 4 different locations in Chile and Boliva and, at every step of the way, everything worked like clockwork. The recommendations were thoughtful and well-tailored to our needs and the whole experience was above expectations.
Cara always does a wonderful job of not only picking the best places to stay but by putting together excellent excursions.
Jacada arranged an extensive private tour for my wife and me in November (2022), visiting Brazil, Argentina and Chile. The entire trip took 3 weeks, starting with 3 nights in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, 2 nights at the Iguazu Falls, 3 nights in Buenos Aires, then a week in Patagonia followed by a week in and around Santiago in…
Everything was wonderful. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches and surprises along the way.
